What is a workforce development consultant?

Workforce Development Consultants (WDCs) work within regions across the state and are ready to assist your agency and employees on a confidential and ongoing basis. They will serve as a direct conduit to many state, county, and local resources by assessing the needs of your agency and employees. Your WDC will identify resources and ways of providing comprehensive and personalized support by meeting with your employees via Zoom or by phone scheduled by the employee in an easy and confidential manner.

Q. Is there a cost associated with the C.A.R.E Connect program?

A. No the program is free to IAHHC members and their employees

Q. Who can participate in C.A.R.E services?

A. The program targets direct caregivers, however any current employee can participate.

Q. Will the information be shared with my supervisor?

A. No, the session is confidential

Q. Are Workforce Development Consultants Case Managers?

A. No Workforce Development Consultants will refer and connect you to community resources and provide follow up as needed.
